One way to make money blogging.
Take a look at the middle of this page on the left hand side. See the box that says "Your Ad Here"? Know what it means? It means you can place your ad here. On my blog.

The code comes from Project Wonderful, where you can create space on your blog to sell advertising and maybe, possibly, pleasepleaseplease generate some income; or you can buy advertising for your site on someone else's. The space is sold to the highest bidder, kind of like Google Scamwords AdWords, but waaaaay less headachy / stomachachy / hyperventilaty.
