Run For Cover -- It's Auction Time and Auction Time, Part 2.
If we/I wanted to use the site then we'd have to find a way to incorporate photos of the kids or artwork by them into the item. Not only that, it should be large enough and impressive enough to justify the expenditure of many dollars to enrich my bank account the school scholarship fund. Photo mugs? Tote bags? Photo personalized puzzles?
No -- way too small to incorporate photos or artwork pertaining to 48 kids. Although we could have produced 48 personalized puzzles, that would have defeated the purpose of offering a unique auction item.
We recently began selling photo personalized tapestries that incorporate your photo into a finely woven, computer-generated cotton fabric. Remember those ancient tapestries with unicorns and stuff in the Metropolitan Museum and the Vatican? Remember how all the ladies went blind producing them stitch by painstaking stitch? These tapestries are just as beautiful, much easier to produce, and way easier on the eyesight because, hey, computers don't have eyes.

Photo Personalized Tapestry from FeeFiFoto.

Your picture is actually woven into the cotton fabric by a digital process that provides unbelievable detail.
So, tapestries. Tapestries with photo collages of the third graders' ceramic monster masks. A good idea. An unusual idea. An impressive idea that can bring in lots of bucks if the end product is even incrementally more appealing than the gigantic paper mache dragon.
